Christoph Bareither: Computer games are becoming commonplace. This means that they become part of normal, everyday routines. For computer gamers themselves, they are as normal as for other football games. The difference that still exists is: While football games have a relatively unquestioned status in our society and it is completely legitimate, for example, to go home earlier to watch a game in Germany, this is not the case with computer games. But they are getting there more and more and are finding greater and greater acceptance.

I don’t want to rate that at all. But one can observe that the fact that people enjoy playing with representations of physical violence is still a problem for many other people.
